Our team is in charge of making a wide range of products available to Bank of Georgia’s customers via the web while also providing a best-in-class experience.
As a Web Development Engineer, you will be in a team with the Product Owner, Designer, Tester, Solution Architect and have daily interactions with Back-end Developers, UX researchers, UX designers, etc. The team’s goal is to deliver a meaningful increment throughout a sprint and improve customer experience. It is also responsible for creating a strategy for the product and its roadmap, alongside stakeholders.
What you will do:
Plan, develop and deliver high-quality increments alongside teammates for a product;
Analyze and break features down into tasks to manage their priorities and deadlines;
Design a system to match the existing architecture and improve it to accommodate changing demands and requirements;
Build design components to support multiple projects;
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and integrations points;
Maintain existing software, improve quality and keep up with technological advancements;
Participate in code reviews;
Present technical ideas and solutions to a group of peers.
What you have:
BS, MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
Minimum 2 years of experience in Web Development;
Expertise in JavaScript (ES6), React, Angular;
Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3;
Experience using and building RESTful API’s and JSON;
Proficient understanding of Git;
Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills;
Strong object oriented programming and application design skills.
What will be a plus:
Experience deploying to high reliability production environments;
Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning;
Experience with Web Components, LitElement, Shadow DOM and HTML templates;
Knowledge of Swagger, Postman and GraphQL;
Familiarity with Node.js, MongoDB, Docker.
