As a Tech Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving our data and analytics initiatives. You will be entrusted with managing the Business Intelligence (BI) backlog, leveraging your expertise to prioritize the development of analytical products, dashboards, and data solutions in response to evolving business requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between our talented data and analytics team and our valued stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on data-driven insights.

General responsibilities:

·       Develop and communicate a clear vision for Business Intelligence and Analytics, aligned with overall business objectives and stakeholder needs for data-driven insight

·       Manage the BI and Analytics backlog, prioritizing requests for new reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical tools based on business value, urgency, and strategic alignment

·       Acting as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders

·       Keep stakeholders informed of the status and progress of analytics projects and manage their expectations

·       Serve as the BI and Analytics Ambassador internally, sharing knowledge about available data products, promoting a data-driven culture

·       Collaborate closely with the BI development team to meet the objectives of each sprint, clarifying requirements and removing roadblocks to ensure successful delivery

·       Map and analyze existing business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement

·       Translate high-level business needs into detailed, actionable user stories and epics with clear acceptance criteria, specifying data sources, calculations, logic, and visualization requirements

·       Oversee all stages of the analytics development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data modeling to visualization design, development, and deployment

·       Keep track of industry trends

·       Analyze usage data and user feedback from BI tools and reports to measure outcomes, validate assumptions, and identify areas for improvement

·       Create training materials or help facilitate knowledge transfer when introducing changes

·       Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications for new reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions

·       Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that the data, calculations, and functionality of BI solutions are accurate and meet stakeholder needs

Requirements and skills:

·       3 years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or data management

·       In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills

·       Ability to multi-task

·       Ability to prioritize effectively

·       Ability to work with large teams

·       Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders

·       Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail

·       Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes

·       Working knowledge of SQL and data query languages, sufficient to perform data validation, understand complex logic, and collaborate effectively with developers

·       Hands-on experience with modern data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)

·       Basic understanding of data governance

·       Cloud platform experience

·       Experience with data catalog and metadata management tools
