As a Tech Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product development initiatives. You’ll be entrusted with managing the product backlog and leveraging your expertise to prioritize tasks in response to evolving requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between our talented teams and our valued stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.

General Responsibilities:

·       Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs

·       Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements

·       Acting as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders

·       Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

·       Assisting the product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint

·       Map and analyze existing business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement

·       Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product

·       Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development

·       Translate high-level business needs into detailed, actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria

·       Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process

·       Keep track of industry trends

·       Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions

·       Analyze product data to measure outcomes and validate assumptions against business goals

·       Create training materials or help facilitate knowledge transfer when introducing changes

·       Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications for product development

·       Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring product functionality meets stakeholder needs

Requirements and skills

·       3 or more years of experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, or Data Management

·       In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management

·       Working knowledge of product development architecture

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills

·       Ability to multi-task

·       Ability to prioritize effectively

·       Ability to work with large teams

·       Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders

·       Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail

·       Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes

·       Working knowledge of SQL and data query languages

·       Awareness of data visualization tools

·       Basic understanding of data governance

·       Cloud platform experience

·       Experience with data catalog and metadata management tools
