Operations Research and Development Analyst

The Bank of Georgia, Operations Research and Development Unit, is seeking for an experienced Operations Research and Development Analyst.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong skills in Power BI, SQL, and Excel to join our team. The Preferred candidate has 3-4 years of experience and brings a developer mindset to enhance data analysis processes. This role involves working with data to create impactful visualizations and insights, efficiently selecting and preparing data using SQL, and performing light scripting tasks in Python to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Visualization & Reporting:

·       Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.

·       Provide insights by analyzing and interpreting data trends.

·       Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data in reports.

Data Preparation & SQL Tasks:

·       Use SQL to select and query data effectively from various sources.

·       Create and manage new tables to store processed and cleaned data for future use in Power BI or other analytics tools.

·       Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure access to required datasets.

Excel Analysis:

·       Use Excel for data modeling, advanced formulas, and ad-hoc reporting.

·       Perform analysis using pivot tables and other advanced Excel tools.

Automation & Development:

·       Write basic Python scripts for data cleaning, transformation, and automation tasks.

·       Implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

Collaboration:

·       Partner with stakeholders to gather and refine data requirements.

·       Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
