Bank of Georgia’s Information Security Department is looking for a Offensive Security Engineer.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows system security basics;

  • Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills;

  • Highly motivated, deeply passionate and able to work with little oversight or direction;

  • Willing to learn current and emerging security tools and technologies, industry trends, latest threats, counter measures, and best practices;

  • Familiarity with offensive techniques like: XSS, SQLi, CSRF, etc ;

  • Knowledge of English to understand technical documentation of various tools and be able to research/analyze security related topics;

  • Familiarity with one or more programing/scripting languages such as bash,python,powershell.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Perform white, gray and black box testing of business applications, web applications, networks and systems using a variety of pen testing tools;

  • Perform security related testing, creating test cases, performing manual and automated tests, reporting on problems encountered and documenting test results for follow-up;

  • Monitor and respond to alerts from various security tools;

  • Develop scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance BOG's security capabilities;

  • Take part in organizing purple team exercises;

  • Validate cybersecurity controls via purple team exercises to mitigate future cyber risks;

  • Conduct Breach and Attack Simulations - BAS;

  • Analyze security test results, draw conclusions from results and develop targeted testing as deemed necessary, develop automation processes and implement tools and techniques to perform ongoing security assessments of the environment;

  • Create report of findings and provide remedial recommendations after testing is complete;

  • Stay up-to-date about current tools, techniques, and vulnerabilities to incorporate into testing practices;
