We’re looking for a Junior Economist to join our team at Bank of Georgia, with the exciting opportunity to also be involved in projects with Lion Finance Group PLC. This is a great chance to grow, learn, and make an impact in both local and international markets.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Dive into economic and financial data, spot trends, and share insights

  • Assisting in the development of macroeconomic scenarios and helping assess their impact on the bank’s portfolio, including participation in stress tests

  • Supporting the modeling and forecasting of key macroeconomic indicators

  • Contributing to the preparation of macroeconomic research and reports, including collecting, processing, and analyzing statistical data

  • Work closely with senior economists on real projects that influence decisions

  • Contribute to both Bank of Georgia and Lion Finance Group initiatives

  • Learn how financial institutions operate from the inside.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Recent graduate (or final-year student) in Economics, Finance, or a related field

  • Curious mind, eager to learn, with strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Comfortable working with data (Excel)

  • Strong communication skills in English (Georgian is a plus)

  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
