The Information Security Department at the Bank of Georgia is looking for an Information Systems Security Engineer.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role;

  • Higher education in IT, Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience;

  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux/macOS operating systems architecture and security;

  • Knowledge of core security principles: least privilege, defense in depth, segmentation, encryption, PKI, etc.;

  • Practical experience working with various Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), preferably with experience in cloud security tools;

  • Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, IPS, WAF, etc. is preferred;

  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles is preferred;

  • Knowledge/experience in security principles for Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered systems;

  • Knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.) is preferred;

  • Proficiency in English;

  • Professional security certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS CSS, AZ-500, CCSP, etc.) is preferred.

Personal Skills:

  • Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills;

  • High motivation and work ethic;

  • Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Selection, deployment, administration, and configuration of cybersecurity tools;

  • Improving and refining cyber threat detection and response capabilities.
