Bank of Georgia's Cash Operations Direction is announcing a vacancy for the position of Head of Service, Systems and Quality Development Unit.


Key Responsibilities:

Process Analysis, Strategy, and Optimization:

  • Systematic analysis of cash handling and cash-in-transit processes and development of optimization recommendations

  • Coordinating the development of standards and user manuals necessary for the activities of the Cash and Valuables Division

  • Analyzing shortcomings identified in the division's management processes and initiating relevant improvements, both as procedural and technical tasks

  • Executing Business Impact Analysis (BIA) procedures

  • Identifying opportunities for changing/optimizing the business processes of the subordinate structural unit in line with the development of the business environment and presenting relevant proposals to direct management

Systems Management and Development:

  • Overseeing the functioning of banking systems used for cash operations and ensuring their efficiency

  • Defining and coordinating automation strategy to improve directional efficiency and minimize risks. Executing tasks according to the developed strategy

  • Identifying new requirements in cash operations systems and coordinating their development with the IT department

  • Developing and implementing system monitoring mechanisms to reduce operational risks

  • Managing and resolving system-related incidents

  • Participating in the development of security standards for cash operations systems and monitoring their compliance

  • Researching new technological solutions and evaluating their implementation possibilities to improve the efficiency of cash operations

Implementation and Project Management:

  • Supporting and managing the implementation process of optimization tasks identified by the Service, Systems, and Quality Development Department

  • Participating in the process of product creation and process changes related to cash handling and cash-in-transit services initiated by business lines

  • Managing IT tasks on behalf of the Cash and Valuables Division, participating in the functional development process, and supporting the implementation of updates in the production environment

  • Coordinating system integration projects and managing testing processes

Quality and Performance Management:

  • Monitoring the quality of service provided by the employees of the Cash and Valuables Division and planning/implementing improvement measures

  • Evaluating service quality and operational efficiency through systematic reporting

Employee Development and Support:

  • Supporting the employees of the Cash and Valuables Division with informational letters and training related to products, systems, and processes

  • Employee development: coaching/mentoring, performance evaluation, and identifying necessary training

  • Organizing and preparing materials for training related to system usage


Qualification Requirements:


Education and Experience:

  • Higher education in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Extensive experience working with procedural and instructional documentation

  • At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position

  • Experience in a financial organization is preferred

  • Experience with information systems, preferably with financial operations or cash management systems

  • Proficiency in English

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in business process analysis and optimization

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (preferably Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)

  • Experience working with banking systems or ERP systems

  • Data analysis skills and knowledge of relevant tools

  • Ability to create technical documentation and formulate system requirements

Soft Skills:
