Bank of Georgia’s IT Department is announcing a vacancy for the position of Head of IT Asset Management Unit.
Position Overview
The IT Asset Management Unit is responsible for maintaining records of IT assets and licenses, managing their lifecycle, optimization, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Management
Develop strategies, policies, and processes for IT asset management;
Manage the lifecycle of assets;
Define KPIs for process success;
Create a long-term development plan for the service;
Manage risks and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
Financial Management
Budget for IT assets;
Conduct cost accounting, depreciation, and profitability analysis;
Optimize assets and licenses;
Generate financial reports;
Assess investment efficiency (ROI analysis).
Operational Management
Ensure the quality of the asset registry;
Analyze data and generate reports;
Administer Ivanti/Snow systems;
Lead and develop the team continuously;
Monitor KPIs and ensure performance.
Project Management
Plan and implement IT asset transformation projects;
Collaborate cross-functionally with other IT departments;
Manage vendor relationships.
Qualification Requirements
Education and Experience
Higher education in Business Administration or Computer Science;
Minimum 7 years of experience in asset management, IT auditing or reporting;
At least 3 years of managerial experience;
Experience in managing large IT budgets;
Experience in the banking/financial sector is preferred.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of asset management systems (Ivanti/Snow);
Basic knowledge of Power BI / SQL;
Preferred certifications: ITAM, CIMA, or CPAM;
Understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL) principles;
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Personal Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Effective communication skills in Georgian and English;
Proven leadership experience;
Ability to manage changes;
Strategic thinking and decision-making skills;
Results-oriented with high organizational skills;
Negotiation skills.
