Bank of Georgia is announcing a vacancy for the position of Financial Officer in CB Reporting and Analysis Unit.


The Financial Officer will be a key member of the CB Reporting and Analysis Unit, responsible for managing and analyzing financial and operational data to support strategic decision-making. The role involves extensive work with databases, financial reporting, and performance monitoring.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Working with and processing the department's financial and operational databases using PL/SQL;

  • Preparing, analyzing, and optimizing standard and Ad Hoc reports and dashboards in Excel and Power BI;

  • Identifying significant trends and pinpointing problems based on statistical data;

  • Analyzing the department's financial results, comparing them with the budget and forecast, and monitoring KPIs;

  • Participating in the department's budgeting and financial forecasting processes;

  • Conducting various analyses segmented by clients, sectors, and products;

  • Ensuring data quality by controlling for accuracy, completeness, and consistency;

  • Presenting analytical conclusions and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.

Mandatory Qualification Requirements:

Education:

  • Higher education in Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics;

  • An ACCA, CFA, or FRM certificate will be considered an advantage.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in reporting and/or analytics is essential;

  • Experience working with databases.

Mandatory Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excel - Advanced level;

  • PL/SQL - Advanced level (data retrieval, processing, optimization);

  • Power BI - Advanced level (DAX, Data Modeling, Interactive Dashboards);

  • Knowledge of banking products and processes will be considered an advantage;

  • English language proficiency (B2+);

  • Analytical thinking and rapid problem-solving abilities.
