We are looking for an accomplished and visionary Engineering Manager for the Payment solutions Tribe in our Information Technology Department to lead our dynamic team of software engineers. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple engineering teams, nurturing talent, and ensuring technical excellence, alignment, and collaboration across multiple squads within the tribe. You will provide technical guidance and optimize development processes to ensure seamless and continuous product delivery.


Responsibilities:

·       Directly manage and provide leadership to Engineering Leads, overseeing high-performing individuals and fostering their growth and development;

·       Work closely with the Tribe Lead and senior leadership to align on priorities, goals, and deliverables, ensuring that development efforts are in line with business priorities;

·       Develop and maintain a long-term technical vision and strategy for the tribe, ensuring alignment with organizational goals;

·       Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and best practices;

·       Drive architectural design, engineering efficiency, and optimize the development process to ensure continuous product delivery;

·       Facilitate effective collaboration and communication among squads to ensure seamless integration and alignment of their efforts;

·       Identify and manage dependencies between squads, ensuring timely resolution of any issues that may arise;

·       Monitor the quality and compliance of policies and standards, identify root causes of noncompliance, track compliance issues and escalate any concerns accordingly;

·       Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices;

Required qualifications

Work Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Information Technology, with at least 2 years in a leadership position;

Education

Bachelor or Master Degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·       Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical and organizational challenges.

·       Deep technical knowledge and experience in software development and engineering practices.

·       Knowledge of payment industry products and understanding related business processes.

·       Proficiency in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

·       Ability to write in a clear and concise manner and to communicate effectively in Georgian, and English.
