JSC Bank of Georgia is announcing a vacancy for the position of Corporate Banker in Batumi.

 

The role is expected to acquire, retain, and expand relationships with the clients by profitably identifying and meeting their needs. 


Responsibilities:

  • Providing service to corporate clients and offering banking products that fit their needs

  • Bringing in new clients and helping grow the client portfolio, supporting team goals

  • Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring excellent service

  • Managing and tracking the portfolio, including overdue loans, turnover, and balances

  • Selling credit and other banking products, and referring clients to different teams when needed (cross-selling)

  • Preparing credit applications, structuring loans, analyzing profitability, and working with internal banking systems

  • Communicating and coordinating effectively with internal teams

  • Assisting senior bankers in preparing client proposals and supporting banking processes

  • Learning about banking products, market trends, industry developments, and regulations

  • Taking part in training sessions and applying corporate banking procedures in daily tasks.

 

  

Requirements:

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree or a final-year university student in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finances/Economics/Banking/Business Administration.

 

Working experience: Preferably, 6 months of work experience in the financial sector.

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities:  

  • Basic knowledge of financial accounting and credit analysis

  • Understanding of core business principles

  • Strong negotiation, business communication, and sales skills

  • Ability to analyze sectoral and economic trends

  • Client-oriented mindset with a strong focus on sales

  • Analytical and logical thinking

  • Effective time management and a strong sense of responsibility

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Teamwork skills and strong organizational abilities

  • High motivation for learning and professional development.
