Position Title: Cluster Product Owner

Direction: Operational Direction - Enterprise Tribe and Operational Efficiency

Overview:

Bank of Georgia looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cluster Product Owner to join the Operational Direction - Enterprise Tribe and Operations Efficiency. This role requires a strategic leader to drive the development of innovative IT programs and solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the entire bank.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Oversight:

• Lead and manage multiple squads within the Enterprise Tribe, directing the development and implementation of strategic IT projects;

• Ensure cohesive, efficient collaboration among teams to achieve the bank’s strategic objectives.

1. Bank wide Strategy Formulation and Implementation:

• Develop and execute strategies that drive operational improvements and organizational effectiveness across the entire bank;

• Lead the development and implementation of IT programs that address important business needs and improve operations throughout the bank.

1. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as the main point of contact between the squads and stakeholders across the bank;

• Foster effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the success of project implementations.

1. Project Management:

• Manage the project backlog, prioritizing tasks in alignment with strategic goals;

• Coordinate with squad leaders and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.

1. Team Development:

• Mentor and support squad members, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence;

• Encourage the professional growth and development of team members to build a high-performing, motivated workforce.

6.     Innovation and Process Excellence

• Lead the end-to-end analysis and continuous improvement of all cluster processes, creating full visibility to identify and execute strategic optimization opportunities;

• Translate data analysis into actionable, value-driven solutions, and drive their implementation to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder experience;

• Champion a culture of innovation and process excellence within squads, empowering teams to solve key business challenges.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience working with high-level managers and stakeholders;

• Proven track record of managing meetings and delivering effective presentations;

• Strong background in data processing, visualization, and basic statistical analysis;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Georgian and English;

• Preferably having track record of experience as a project manager or Product Owner in an IT or operations-focused environment;

• Experience of working in international companies in advisory direction or on an senior position in large corporations will be benefit;

• Possession of CFI or CFA certificates will be viewed as benefitt.

  
  

About the Role: As the Cluster Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and success of the Enterprise Tribe. Your primary responsibilities will include close collaboration with various business units to identify opportunities for IT-driven improvements, managing a high-priority project backlog, and ensuring the practical application of solutions that meet the bank’s strategic goals.

You will have a comprehensive view over bankwide operations, ensuring the alignment and integration of projects across different departments and overall company strategy. This critical oversight will help drive operational improvements on a broad scale, benefitting the entire organization.

You will be actively involved in overseeing ongoing projects, providing mentorship to project leaders, and implementing strategies to drive operational efficiency.
