Bank of Georgia is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cluster Product Owner to join the Enterprise Tribe at the Bank of Georgia. This role requires a strategic leader to drive the development of innovative IT programs and solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the entire bank.


About the Role: As the Cluster Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and success of the Enterprise Tribe. Your primary responsibilities will include close collaboration with various business units to identify opportunities for IT-driven improvements, managing a high-priority project backlog, and ensuring the practical application of solutions that meet the bank’s strategic goals.


You will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to align roadmaps and drive successful delivery. A key part of your role will be to lead and support a team of Product Owners, guiding them in backlog management, prioritization, and product discovery to foster a collaborative and high-performing agile environment.



What You'll Do

Product Vision & Strategy:

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategic roadmap for the cluster.

  • Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.

Strategic Prioritization:

  • Align business priorities with technology roadmaps across multiple squads.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, customer impact, risk, and strategic goals.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Monitor delivery progress, manage dependencies, and remove cross-team impediments to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across the cluster.

Delivery & Execution:

  • Manage the project backlog, prioritizing tasks in alignment with strategic goals.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to build scalable and sustainable solutions.

Performance & Metrics:

  • Define, track, and report on product KPIs and success metrics to measure the impact and value of initiatives.


What You Bring

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience working with high-level managers and stakeholders

  • Proven track record of managing meetings and delivering effective presentations

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Georgian and English

  • Preferably having track record of experience as a project manager or Product Owner in an IT or operations-focused environment

  • Experience in at least one of the following areas is preferred: financial accounting, risk management, workflow management, or managing large-scale operational systems.
