Cluster product owner - Enterprise finance and risk management
JSC Bank of Georgia is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cluster Product Owner to join the Enterprise Tribe and Operations efficiency direction at the Bank of Georgia. This role requires a strategic leader to drive the development of innovative IT programs and solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the entire bank.
About the Role: As the Cluster Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and success of the Enterprise Tribe. Your primary responsibilities will include close collaboration with various business units to identify opportunities for IT-driven improvements, managing a high-priority project backlog, and ensuring the practical application of solutions that meet the bank’s strategic goals.
You will have a comprehensive view over bankwide operations, ensuring the alignment and integration of projects across different departments and overall company strategy. This critical oversight will help drive operational improvements on a broad scale, benefitting the entire organization.
You will be actively involved in overseeing ongoing projects, providing mentorship to project leaders, and implementing strategies to drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Oversight:
· Lead and manage multiple squads within the Enterprise Tribe, directing the development and implementation of strategic IT projects.
· Ensure cohesive, efficient collaboration among teams to achieve the bank’s strategic objectives.
Bankwide Strategy Formulation and Implementation:
· Develop and execute strategies that drive operational improvements and organizational effectiveness across the entire bank.
· Lead the development and implementation of IT programs that address important business needs and improve operations throughout the bank.
Stakeholder Engagement:
· Act as the main point of contact between the squads and stakeholders across the bank.
· Foster effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the success of project implementations.
Project Management:
· Manage the project backlog, prioritizing tasks in alignment with strategic goals.
· Coordinate with squad leaders and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
Team Development:
· Mentor and support squad members, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
· Encourage the professional growth and development of team members to build a high-performing, motivated workforce.

Qualifications:
Extensive experience working with high-level managers and stakeholders
Proven track record of managing meetings and delivering effective presentations
Strong background in data processing, visualization, and basic statistical analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Georgian and English
Preferably having track record of experience as a project manager or Product Owner in an IT or operations-focused environment
Experience of working in BIG 4 auditorial companies on senior positions will be viewed as strong benefit
Possession of ACCA or CFA certificates will be viewed as benefit
